How to reach Orléans, FR
The conference takes place at Orléans, a city 130 Km south of Paris.
There are two main airports serving Paris : Charles de Gaulle (CDG), situated 36 km north of Paris, and Orly (ORY) which is 19 km south of Paris.
Orléans is accessible by train from the Paris’ station “Gare d’Austerlitz”. It is a 1h ride, and it costs around 22€/direction. Trains are quite frequent during the day.
To reach “Gare d’Austerlitz” from the Paris airports:
- From CDG: take RER B to “Saint-Michel Notre-Dame” stop, where you need to connect to RER C to “Gare d’Austerlitz”. This takes about 50 min and it costs 11.8€.
- From Orly: take Orlyval to Antony, where you connect to RER B to “Saint-Michel Notre-Dame” stop, and here you need to connect to RER C to “Gare d’Austerlitz”. This takes about 45 min and it costs 14.5€.

In Orléans, there are two train stops:
- “Gare d’Orléans” – in the city centre, about 10 min walk to the conference venue, and to most of the hotels.
- “Les Aubrais” – It is situated 4km from the city centre and connected to Orléans centre by tram line A (≈10 min ride). From Paris, there are more trains to “Les Aubrais” than to “Gare d’Orléans”.
Alternatively, it is possible to reach Orléans by bus, Flixbus (https://global.flixbus.com/) proposes buses connecting both airports directly to Orléans. Although not very frequent, this is also an option. The buses stop at “Libération”, from which you can take tram line A (5 min ride to the city centre).
There are also 2 main companies providing shuttle transfers from both airports to Orléans. It is needed to book in advance, but their websites are unfortunately only in French (https://www.pickmecab.fr/ and http://www.rpg-international.fr/reservation/new) Prices vary between ≈70-120 €/trip.
